Michael Lee Palmer II

Michael Lee Palmer II, 53, of Fostoria, Ohio passed away Saturday, Nov. 2, 2024, at his home.

He was born Sept. 20, 1971, in Fort Louis, Washington, to Michael Lee Palmer and Anita "Fay" Palmer. He married Robin Salyers and they later divorced.

He is survived by parents, Michael Lee Palmer of Washington, Fay Palmer of Fostoria; son, Eric Palmer of Fostoria; daughter, DeeAnna (Andrew) Palmer-Gillian of Fostoria; brother, Skot King of Fostoria; nephews, Anthony and Matthew Keim, and Harley King.

He is preceded in death by brothers, Eric Palmer and Mark Keim.

Mike was a salesman at Paul Cole Motors in Fostoria. He earned his GED with his mother Fay. Mike enjoyed golfing, and was an avid Dallas Cowboys, WWE and Star Wars fan. He was an Ordained Minister, and became known as the "guy in red shoes" at Paul Cole. Mike had a love and passion for music. He was the lead singer in The Common Grounds & Silence the Echoes bands. Mike's band opened for Saving Abel, Buck Cherry. Also Mike's highlight or honor was to perform alongside Drowning Pool with his kids just off stage.

Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024, at Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria, Ohio. Memorial visitation will be two hours prior to services at the funeral home.

Those attended services are ask to dress casual, in Dallas Cowboys, Star Wars, Red shoes or in benefit or band merch., attire.

Memorials can be made to the Palmer family/children or to Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home to go towards funeral expenses.

Although I have not seen Mike for over a year, I have known him for more than 30 years. We used to work in haunted houses back in the day and he was an extremely nice person who was great to be around. I am very much going to miss Mike. Dearest Mike, you know how sad Jim and I are for you and for your family. We've been friends for such a long time, and please know we are always here for you even tho there are alot of miles between us.
