Michael Dieter Obituary
Michael N. Dieter, 66, of Fostoria, passed away Monday, Oct. 10, 2022, at ProMedica Toledo Hospital.
He was born Jan. 27, 1956, in Fostoria, to the late Norman E. and Carla J. (Earl) Dieter.
Surviving are two sons, Cory A. Dieter of Fostoria and Jason R. Dieter of Indian Lake; grandchildren, Andrew Dieter, Jayden Sharninghouse, and Ava Shaffier; brother, Gary C. (Betty) Dieter of Fostoria; and many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Scott Dieter.
Michael was a 1974 graduate of Fostoria High School and worked at Atlas Crankshaft and Bill's Car Care in Fostoria. He was avid Cleveland Browns, Indians and Cavaliers fan. Michael was also an eagle scout. He enjoyed dirt track racing and will be missed by many friends and family.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14, 2022, at Hoening & Son Funeral Home, 133 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria, Ohio, 44830. Burial will follow at Knollcrest Cemetery, Arcadia.
Memorial contributions are suggested to American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.

Holidays without the presence of family member extends the pain and sorrow of missing your love one. I pray that your fond memories of Michael will strengthen you to celebrate his life. Michael was a sincere classmate, friend and fellow scout. He always encouraged me. I am blessed that God allowed our paths to intersect during his time with us. I pray God´s comfort and peace through His son Jesus rest upon you during this season.
