I am so saddened by Mike´s passing. My heartfelt condolences got out to you Peg and family. I am also happy that through Paul Cross, I reconnected with Mike and met you a couple of years ago. We shared laughter from growing up together and some tears concerning our collective Vietnam experiences,. RIP Mike.. always a good friend and genuinely a good man.

RESOLUTION FOR MICHAEL BECK
The Great Sandusky High School Class of 67, would like to extend to Mrs. Michael Beck and the extended family our sincere condolences and prayers in the Transitioning-Homegoing of our classmate, Michael Beck. Mike was loved by the class of 67, and because Paul Cross kept us informed regarding Mike, we all remained instant in prayer for Mike as well as the family.
WHEREAS: A "Homegoing" is not an easy cross to bear, and the pain may seem almost unbearable, we know that we serve a Sovereign God, a never changing God, who loved Mike unconditionally, but at the same time, He loves and cares about each one of you. And because He loves you, He has sent the "Comforter," the Holy Spirit to give you peace. All you have to do, is call on Him.
AND WHEREAS: II Timothy 4:7-8 reads: I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not me only, but unto all of them also that love his appearing.
BE IT RESOLVED: That the God we serve is a promise-keeper. Jesus said in St. John, chapter 14, He would go and prepare a place for us, and if He went and prepared the place He would come again and receive us unto himself, so that where He is there we maybe also. So, be at peace knowing God kept His promise and came back and received Mike unto Himself, so he could be with Him eternally. You did all you could do for him in the earthly realm. God answers all prayers and whereas we pray for healing, it is always our Hope that it will take place here, but God´s will be done, for He has answered the prayers, He just chose to answer it and heal him, not on this side of heaven, but on the other side of heaven. Mike is totally healed now. Amen.
BE IT RESOLVED FURTHER: I Thessalonians 4:16-17 reads: For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
For peace and consolation in the days ahead, we recommend Psalm 121: I will lift up mine eyes to the hills from whence cometh my help, and my help comes from the Lord!
This is a confirmation that you will see Mike again, but for now be at peace knowing Mike is okay, and he is resting in the presence of the Lord over on "Heaven´s Way!" Mike's "Homegoing" was not in vain because He found "Victory," Sweet, Sweet "Victory" just over the horizon.
FINALLY, BE IT RESOLVED: That a copy of this Resolution be given to the Bereaved Family and a copy be retained in the records of the Great Class of 67.
Prayerfully Submitted,
Classmates of The Sandusky
