Michael Ryan Allen

Michael Ryan Allen, 39, of Bowling Green, Ohio, passed away Monday, July 18, 2022, at his home.

He was born Nov. 12, 1982, in Bowling Green, to Randall K. Allen and Julie A. Devore.

Michael is survived by his parents, Randall (Mary) Allen of Oak Harbor and Julie (John) Barnes of Carey; grandfather, Don Devore of Fostoria; three brothers, Brian (Dawn) Allen of Bradner, Matthew Allen of Marion, and Patrick (Jess) Barnes of Upper Sandusky; three sisters, Katy Allen of Charleston, South Carolina, Sydney (Jess) Smith of Pataskala, and Lily (Scott) Park of Columbia, South Carolina; special pet cat, Chewy; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Jean Ray and Jessie and Virgil Allen; and two sisters, Kristine Allen and Elizabeth Barnes.

Michael was a 2001 graduate of Oak Harbor High School. He was a sports fan and loved watching his favorite team, The Ohio State Buckeyes.

Friends will be received 2-6 p.m. Friday, July 22, 2022, at Barndt Funeral Home, Wayne. Burial will take place at a later date at Bradner Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to Wood County Humane Society in his memory.
