Mary Kreais Obituary
Mary Jane Kreais, 87, of Fostoria, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at ProMedica Fostoria Community Hospital.
She was born January 21, 1938, in Toledo, to the late Frank and Jennie (Rusek) Strzelecki. She married Herman "Sonny" Kreais January 16, 1965, and he preceded her in death January 15, 2009.
Surviving are three children, Brian (Gayle) Kreais, Fostoria, Kevin (Michelle) Kreais, New Lebanon, Karen (Larry Lundy) Woerner, Fostoria; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Phyllis Duenas, Toledo.
She was also preceded in death by eight siblings.
Mary Jane was a member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church in Fostoria and enjoyed playing cards, euchre, bowling, and spending time with her family.
Visitation will be from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at HOENING FUNERAL HOME, 242 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria, Ohio 44830. Funeral Mass is 12 p.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at St. Wendelin Catholic Church with the Rev. Joseph Poggemeyer presiding. Burial will follow at St. Wendelin Catholic Cemetery. A funeral luncheon will take place at church in the parish hall.
Memorial contribu-tions are suggested to American Cancer Society.

She was such a sweet lady. She definitely loved family and life. Her family meant the world to her. I am blessed to be a part of her world. I wasn't just a daughter in law, but a daughter. She was my favorite mother in law (that's our joke).
