Mary Lou (Louise) Wangler Collins

Mary Lou (Louise) Wangler Collins, 91, of Dalton, Georgia, died Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2022, at Mount Carmel East in Gahanna.

Mary Lou is survived by five children, Diane Johnson, Michael Collins, Julie Collins, Patrick Collins, and Richard Collins; eight grandchildren, Aaron Johnson, Matthew Johnson, Ryan Johnson, Sean Collins, Elise Collins, Trevor Horne, Jill Weaver and Ben Sholiton; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Edward Durbin Collins.

Mary Lou lived an active life and enjoyed camping, line dancing, playing Euchre and Mah Jongg, swimming, participating in Red Hat society, and spending time with her ever-expanding family.

Having lived in both Gahanna and Coshocton, a service will be 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 26, 2022, at St. Matthew Church in Gahanna. A celebration of life will follow at La Navona Event Center in Gahanna. A private burial service will take place Saturday, Aug. 27, 2022, in Coshocton.
