Martha Schetter Obituary
Martha Irene Schetter, 76, of Tiffin, passed away Thursday, Oct. 10, 2024 at Autumnwood Care Center.
She was born June 18, 1948, in Tiffin to Ralph and Martha (Fox) Schetter. Martha graduated from the School of Opportunity and worked for many years at the Workshop. She has been a resident of Autumnwood Care Center for the past 20 years and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Martha prayed daily, and her faith was very important to her. She enjoyed watching game shows, playing cards, bingo and going out to eat. Martha loved everyone and was a friend to everyone.
She is survived by her sisters, Dorothy Minich of Fostoria, Bernadette (Dave) Widman of Republic, Regina Hall of Tiffin, Goretti Neuman of Amherst and Rachel (Ted) McNeely of Berlin Heights; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Tony Schetter, Basil Schetter, Bill Schetter, Gerard Schetter, Fred Schetter and Ben Schetter.
Martha's funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2024, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with The Rev. Anthony Coci officiating. A Rosary will be prayed 30 minutes prior to Mass. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2024 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, 419-447-2424.
Memorial contributions may be made to the School of Opportunity or St. Joseph Catholic Church.
