Marilyn Griffin Obituary
Marilyn Anne Rathburn Lambright Griffin, 92, of Sterling, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2023, after a life well-lived.
She was born Aug. 4, 1931, in Fostoria, to Arnold C. and Juanita (Cox) Rathburn and graduated from Fostoria High School in 1949. She married Jack E. Lambright Sr. on Nov. 12, 1949, and he preceded her in death Oct. 6, 1977.
Marilyn is survived by her children, Jack (Sally) Lambright of Sharon Center, Larry D. (Nok-Yupin) Lambright of Takhli, Thailand, Rick Lambright of Kennesaw, Georgia, and Jill Anne (Terry) Buckingham of Sterling; 15 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren: sister, Ruth Ellen (Gary) Zuber of Stockton, Missouri; and sisters-in-law, Carol Rathburn and Karen Rathburn.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Jack E. Lambright Sr. and William T. Griffin; son, Timothy Lambright; a grandson; infant twin grandsons; one great-grandson; and brothers, Thomas and Steve Rathburn.
Marilyn's services will be 12 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2023, at Murray Funeral Home, Creston, with visitation for friends from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Burial will be at Rose Hill Burial Park, Akron.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to LifeCare Hospice, 1900 Akron Rd., Wooster, Ohio, 44691.
