Survivors include four sons, Daniel R. (Sandie) Hunter of Issaquah, Washington, Steven L. (Lori) Hunter of Brooklyn, Michigan, Joseph R. (Maureen) Hunter of Sandusky, and Scott (Shelly) Wade of Canal Winchester; four daughters, Ann M. (Tim) Ott, Karen L. Hunter, both of Tiffin, Christina E. Hunter of Findlay, and Teresa Wade of Tiffin; 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Mike (Shirley) Perna of Michigan, Frank (Melinda) Perna and Lenny (Paula) Perna, both of Tiffin; four sisters, Mary Reid, Jeanie (Larry) Adelsperger, Margie Hodges, and Dolores (Mike) Herbert, all of Tiffin.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her two husbands; a son, Terry Hunter and his wife Denise; a grandson, Nicholas Hunter; three sisters, Carmie Fabrizio, Natty Kistler, and Connie Corrado; and two brothers, John Perna and Joe Perna.
Lucy was the embodiment of hard work, loyalty and devotion. She spent every moment of her life putting her family first, sacrificing and loving with every ounce of her being. Even in her final days, she fought with dignity and strength, determined to make each day count.
Lucy enjoyed taking care of everyone who needed it, especially her family. She absolutely loved any dog that she came across and would welcome them into her home for any amount of time. She was happiest when all her family gathered with her, or going to the casino.
She was a homemaker until her children were raised, then she worked at St. Francis Home and Foodtown. She also owned and operated Breaktime Plaza and Countyline Store with her first husband, Joe.
Lucy was deeply loved by all who knew her, and she will be dearly missed. The family would like to thank the entire Willows staff for their kind, compassionate care during their mother's stay.
