Loretta L. Smith

Loretta Louise Smith, 88, of Fostoria, passed away Tuesday May 7, 2024, at Independence House, Fostoria.

She was born July 31, 1935, in Toledo, to George and Bettie (Owens) Smith.

She is survived by a niece, Michelle (George) Lessard of Nebraska; nephew, Bruce (Lisa) Smith of Paulding; great-nephews, Sheldon Smith, Mark Roberts, and Brandon Smith; great-niece, Christina Caduri; six great-great-nieces; and one great-great-nephew.

Loretta was preceded in death by her parents; brother, John R. Smith; sister-in-law, Mildred E. Smith; and niece, Sally Smith.

Loretta was a member of Fostoria Baptist Church.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2024, until the time of Loretta's funeral at 1 p.m. at MANN-HARE-HOENING FUNERAL HOME, 407 N. Countyline St., Fostoria, Ohio, 44830. Pastor Ryan Brown will preside. Burial will follow at Fountain Cemetery.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Fostoria Baptist Church.
