Linda Kay Crace

Linda Kay Crace, 71, of Findlay, passed away Saturday, Jan. 6, 2024, at Bridge Hospice Center.

Linda was born Feb. 3, 1952, in Toledo, to Martin Bugner and Gail Baker. She grew up in Fostoria, attending Calvert Catholic Elementary School and later moved to Findlay where she graduated from Findlay High School in 1970.

Shortly after graduating, Linda started working at The Whirlpool Corporation in Findlay. She was employed here for more than 30 years and worked in various departments. While working at Whirlpool, Linda met Bobby Crace and the two were married shortly after in 1984. Together, Linda and Bobby enjoyed spending time in the mountains of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Linda and Bob also enjoyed time at Hotrod shows where their 1932 Plymouth was sure to turn heads.

Linda enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. She could often be found in the backyard watching the birds, squirrels, and rabbits with her trusty sidekick, Zoey, by her side. Linda could often be found working in her gardens and had houseplants in every window possible. In addition to her houseplants, she loved to collect Boyd Bears figurines and has several cabinets full of her collection.

Above all, Linda enjoyed spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren.

She will be missed by her husband, Bobby of Findlay; children, Ryan (Tina) Freed, Shanell Oliver, and Misty Freed, all of Findlay; stepchildren, Tammy Alameda of Kentucky, Jeff (Amy) Crace of Arcadia, and Sheri (Brian) Moyer of Arcadia; grandchildren, Shelby Freed, Tucker Oliver, Laney Oliver, Gavin Woodruff, Ariona Woodruff, Derek Moyer, Maryah Darr, Craig Moyer, Maryssa Crace, Brianna Moyer, Jacob Moyer, Cord Roesch, and Josh Alameda; numerous great-grandchildren; siblings, Debbie (Kenny) Brooks, Joe (Aida) Bugner, Tina Adams, Ronald Bugner, Gina (Bradley) Bloomfield, Tonya Bugner, Colleen Kelly, Laurie (Jeffery) Wright, and Karen (Arnold) Scherger; sister-in-law, Cathy Bugner; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Jeff Bugner.
