Leona J. Carlin

Leona J. Carlin, 69, of Tiffin, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Mercy Health – Tiffin Hospital.

Leona was born Oct. 13, 1954, in Tiffin, to Thomas F. and Imogene (Updike) Boyd. She married Thomas C. Carlin on Oct. 13, 1982, in Elyria.

Leona's survivors include her husband, Thomas C. Carlin of Tiffin; sister, Mary Jane Daughenbaugh of Troy; four nephews, Mark (Vivian) Daughenbaugh, David (Michele Sherman) Daughenbaugh, Tom (Anita) Boyd, and Michael (Tracy) Boyd; and two nieces, Deb (Steve) Wise and Heather (Chad) Howard.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, George, Chuck, and Ted Boyd; sister, Margaret Ann Biller; and nephew, Ed Daughenbaugh.

Leona worked in production and customer service most of her life. She was a member of First Baptist Church and enjoyed reading, working outside, and taking care of her family. Leona was a 1972 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School.

Leona's graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Woodlawn Cemetery, Bloomville.

Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home, Bloomville, is assisting family with arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to charity of the donor's choice.
