Kenneth Leisure Obituary
Kenneth Eugene "Ken" Leisure, 80, of Findlay, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 26, 2024, at the Manor at Greendale in Findlay.
Ken was born Nov. 15, 1943, the son of Ada Grace Postlewaite Leisure Williams and Keston M. Leisure. Ken proudly served his country in U.S. Army. He retired from Allied Signal/Honeywell in Duncan, South Carolina and Carolina Hose & Hydraulics in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Ken's hobbies included golf, camping, boating, fishing, Game Show Network, and old western movies. He loved his pups, Benji, Buttons, Niko, Bandit, Sheba, Butch, and Shag. He was a member of Reidville Road Church in Duncan, South Carolina and member of American Legion Post #354 in New Riegel.
Ken is survived by his children, Brenda Wertz of Tiffin, Rodney Leisure (Tina) of Prosper, Texas, Lucinda Leisure of Fostoria, Thomas Leisure of Fostoria, and Laura Williams (Brian) of Roselle, Illinois; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Sharon Roddy, Margie Roddy, and Beverly (Mike) Hammer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ethel Leisure on May 30, 1981; previous wife, Helen Rose (Wagner) Leisure; daughter, Catherine Grace Leisure; and brothers, Keston, Joe, Carroll, Bill, and Wade Leisure.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Friday, May 31, 2024, at MANN-HARE-HOENING FUNERAL HOME, 407 N. Countyline Street, Fostoria, Ohio, 44830. Ken's graveside service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Weston Cemetery with Pastor Mike Legg presiding. Military honors will be conducted by New Riegel American Legion.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Armes Cancer Center, Findlay, with heartfelt thanks and the deepest appreciation to Dr. Al Asad and his staff.
