Kathryn Barger Obituary
Kathryn M. Barger, 83, of New Riegel, passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at Good Shepherd Home in Fostoria.
Kathryn was born April 24, 1941, in Fostoria to the late Raymond G. and Esther M. (Wagner) Hark. She married Richard F. Barger in New Riegel January 20, 1962, and he preceded her in death October 31, 2019.
Survivors include her son, Richard J. Barger of San Jose, California; daughter, Cynthia R. (Randy) Feathers of Fostoria; four grandchildren, Cody, Colton, Amanda, and Theresa; two great-grandchildren on the way; a brother, Michael Hark of Elida; two sisters, Rosemary Nye of Alvada and Carolyn Loudenslager of Sycamore.
Kathryn was a homemaker and a member of All Saints Parish in New Riegel. She enjoyed shopping, antiquing and traveling with Richard.
Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Christopher C. Barger; and a sister, Jeanann Kin.
Funeral services for Kathryn will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin. Visitation for family and friends will be from 10 a.m. until time of the service Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services at Seneca Memory Gardens in Tiffin.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Alzheimer's Association.
