Jeffrey Brookman Obituary
Jeffrey Allen "Jeff" Brookman, 65, of Fostoria, passed away Monday, Aug. 5, 2024, in Rapid City, South Dakota as the result of a motorcycle accident, which was no fault of his own.
He was born Jan. 21, 1959, in Fostoria, to William H. and Donna R. (Hoffbauer) Brookman.
Jeff is survived by his mother, Donna Brookman of Fostoria; brother, Richard Brookman of Fostoria; nephew, Chad Brookman of Santa Rosa, California; and niece, Julia Hadley of Gresham, Oregon.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Brookman.
Jeff was a graduate of St. Wendelin High School and then attended Miramar College in San Diego, California where he received special training for building military helicopters especially the Apache helicopter. He currently worked at GVS – Filtration in Findlay.
Jeff will be remembered for his love of family and friends, motorcycling, and music concerts. He was a member of Abate of Ohio Foundation, Sons of Amvets in Fostoria, FOE # 430 Fostoria, Fostoria United Sportsman Club, Carey Conservation Sportsman Association, and Harley Owners Group.
Jeff's funeral and burial will be private.
A public celebration of life will be 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, 2024, at Fostoria Eagles Club.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Abate of Ohio Foundations.

Donna,
We are so sorry to hear of Jeff´s passing. I´ve got lots of good memories of Jeff when we were growing up, golfing, bicycling, riding our mini bikes and playing shuffleboard and ping pong while spending the night in your basement. We grew up and kind of went our separate ways but we were always friends. He was a groomsman in my wedding, attended my ordination and even came to my retirement. I know Jeff lived life to the fullest, and he will always be in my heart as a good friend.
