Janet Brendle Obituary

Janet Brendle

Janet Brendle, 73, of Fostoria, passed away peacefully Thursday, Aug. 22, 2024, at her home after a long battle with cancer.

She was born April 8, 1951, in Tiffin, to John and Christine (SanGregory) Turco. In 1973, Janet married Willard Brendle Jr. and they divorced after 25 years of marriage.

Janet is survived by her daughters, Jessica Brendle of Fostoria and Jonna (Fiancé Brian Aller) Brendle of Findlay; brother, John (Caroline) Turco of Tiffin; sisters, identical twin JoAnne (Denny) Crum, Loretta Morgan, and Theresa (Tom) Wise, all of Tiffin; and grandchildren, Kiesin, Chasen, Braelynn, Zabian, and Skyler Cramer.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Madelyn Breitigam and Susan Daniel.

Janet was a graduate of Hopewell-Loudon High School. She worked for over 25 years at Ameri-Kart (formerly Sherwood Plastics) in various departments and roles. Janet loved being a mother and grandmother and spending as much time with her grandchildren as she could. She enjoyed crocheting and donating big beautiful blankets for people who were going through difficult or trying times no matter how closely she knew them. She was known as a friendly and generous neighbor and never in her life met a stranger. She was a consistent source of guidance and advice for her children and grandchildren and loved and cared for her dog, Charlie, as a member of the family.

It was Janet's wishes to forgo traditional services and instead, there will be a small celebration of life ceremony at a later time.

The family asks that any desired memorials be made to American Cancer Society.
