James Creeger Obituary

James Melvin Creeger

James Melvin Creeger, 74, of Findlay, passed away Monday, February 3, 2025, at Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay.

James was born October 31, 1950, in Tiffin to the late Alton A. and Edna (Cook) Creeger.

Survivors include his daughter, Stephanie (Daniel) Lowery; a son, Michael James Dean Creeger, both of Findlay; a sister, Judy Melroy of Toledo; two brothers, John Creeger of Columbus and Vernon "Chip" (Becky) Creeger of Tiffin.

James attended Tiffin Columbian High School, was a retired truck driver and a United States Army Veteran serving during Vietnam. James passion was spending time with his family and had a love for classic cars. James has moved to heaven to lineup at the staging tree to race with his nephew, Todd R. Melroy.

There will be a memorial service for James at noon on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin, with military rites being rendered by United Veterans Council. Visitation for family and friends will also be Wednesday from 11 a.m., until time of the service at the funeral home. There will be no burial at this time.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
