Erin Smith, 65, of Fostoria, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2026, at Mercy Health - St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo. He was born September 16, 1960, in Fostoria, to Carl and Esta Smith. He married Joyce Smith, May 9, 1985, and she passed June 12, 2019.
Erin is survived by daughters, Alicia (Evan) Schroeder of Columbus, Lindsey Smith and Jenna Smith, both of Fostoria; son, Andrew Smith of Fostoria; stepson, Eric (Stacy) Bomer of Columbus; sisters, Carla (Mike) Coffee of Columbus and Melanie (John) Kimble of Arizona; grandchildren, Tyson and Alana Bomer, Lily and Zoe Schroeder, Zane and Luna Durain, and Gabe Oldaker.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Joyce Smith; and brother, Kevin Smith.
Erin was a graduate of Fostoria High School and worked at Continental Structural Plastics, now Teijin, in Carey.
A celebration of life will be from 3-5 p.m. Monday, January 19, 2026, at Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria.
Memorials can be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
