Elizabeth Barrington Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Elizabeth Jewel Barrington on Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2024.
She was born Aug. 29, 1962, in Dayton, to Donald and Donna Overton. Elizabeth lived a rich and fulfilling life and will be missed dearly by those fortunate to have known her. As she left this world too soon, she was surrounded by her family, who ensured she did not end her journey alone.
Elizabeth enjoyed pastimes such as cross stitching, quilting, collecting Precious Moment figurines, rooting for her favorite NFL team, Pittsburgh Steelers, and spending time with her family and beloved dog, EARLLL aka "little love muffin."
She is survived by her mother, Donna Overton; three siblings, Danny (Diane), Donita, and Paula; two sons, Rich (Alison) and Justin (Jaed); and seven grandchildren, Alyvia, Madison, Blake, Avery, Holly, Willow, and Piper.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her father, Donald Overton.
Elizabeth's celebration of life will be Saturday, Sept. 21, 2024, at 1120 E. Market St. in Celina in the banquet hall. Doors will open at 2 p.m. The celebration of a life well-lived, officiated by Pastor Briana Geiger, will promptly begin at 3 p.m. followed by any memories or stories family and friends may have to share. Dinner will follow with one of her favorite meals, fried chicken. Please feel free to dress casual. It will be a time for those who knew and loved her to reminisce joyous memories, to mourn her loss, and to ultimately celebrate the beautiful and impactful life she led.
