Edna Pessell Obituary
Edna Mae Pessell, 100, of Arcadia, Ohio passed away Saturday, November 25, 2023 at Bay Park Hospital, Oregon, Ohio. She was born December 26, 1922 in Fostoria, Ohio to Melvin & June (Keith) McCullough. She married Frederick Pessell in November of 1940.
Edna was the loving mother of 3 sons who survive, Fred (Sheryl) Pessell of Battlecreek, MI, Jeff (Bonnie) Pessell of Newark & Robert (Anna) Pessell of Fostoria, grandchildren Penny, Eric, Joe, Dan, Trent, Jennifer, Ryan, Brittany & Danielle, 17 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild & special niece Janet Main
Edna is preceded in death by her parents, husband Frederick, son Tom Pessell & siblings Paul McCullough, Dean McCullough, Delores Hawk, Frances Gottfried, Lucy McDonald, Jean Snyder, Dale McCullough, Cleo Bish, Marlene Robinson & Darlene Mitchem
Edna worked at RCA in Findlay, she and her husband Frederick ran the Arcadia Creamery & she was a cashier for Arcadia Schools. She was a graduate of Fostoria High School & member of the Arcadia Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 1, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Arcadia United Methodist Church, with Pastor Erma Metzger officiating. Burial will be at Knollcrest Cemetery, Arcadia, Ohio. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 30, 2023 from 5-8 p.m. at the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria, Ohio & from 10-11 Friday at the church.
Memorials can be made to the Arcadia United Methodist Church or Cancer Patient Services

I just learned of Aunt Edna's passing. She was a loving person whose serene demeanor and gentle laugh I will always remember. She sent me some information about my Mother Anne, her Sis in law, when I asked her some questions. I hold it very dear. I remember the Thanksgiving dinners and the Christmas get togethers of the Pessell family when I was a little girl. So I celebrate Aunt Ednas special life today. Xoxo. Amy Adler
