Dorothy L. Davidson

Dorothy L. Davidson, 76, of Tiffin, died peacefully surrounded by her loved ones Monday, May 5, 2025, at St. Francis Home.

She is survived by her daughter, Dawn (Mark) Irving of Tiffin; brothers, Dallas "Joe" (Carolyn) Prater Jr. of Fostoria and Robert Steven "Steve" Prenzlin of Marblehead; one granddaughter, Amanda Mata of Tiffin; two grandsons, Anthony Kuhns of Fostoria and Lane (Mariah) Irving of Tiffin; and three great-granddaughters, Kaia (Aidan) Bowen and Sophia Mata and Cora Mata; along with several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Davidson; parents, Greta (House) and Robert "Bob" Prenzlin.

A retired caregiver, Dorothy loved being with her family, morning-time crossword puzzles, gardening and canning, cooking, listening to music and coffee with her CB friends, and her soap operas. She was a proud graduate of Fostoria High School, Class of 1966, and had a wonderful time with friends at her class reunions she attended.

Her family will forever miss her incredible sense of humor, love, delicious morning breakfasts, compassionate heart and determination. Please say a prayer or raise a toast to the enduring spirit of family.

Flowers and/or memorials can be sent to the funeral home Monday for the family's private service.

The family would like to thank the staff from the Chiara Unit at St. Francis of Tiffin, as well as Heartland Hospice, for their unwavering care and support, and Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home for their compassion and guidance in our time of need.
