Donna Berger Obituary

Donna Berger

Donna beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 2, 2025, after a courageous battle with breast cancer, surrounded by her loving family.

Born January 13, 1951, Donna lived a life filled with creativity, compassion, and joy. She found endless happiness in her craft room, where she loved cross-stitching and creating handmade cards that brought smiles to everyone who received them. Whether she was working on a new project, bowling in her favorite leagues, or listening to Elvis Presley and Barry Manilow, she poured her heart into the things she loved.

Donna is survived by her devoted husband of 55 years, Mike Berger; her daughter, Jennifer Walsh, her husband, Joe, and their children, Lauren and Austin; her son, Aaron Berger, his wife, Nikkole, and their daughter, Peyton; and her sister, Betty Wines. Her family was her greatest joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

She will be remembered for her warmth, humor, generous spirit, and ability to make others feel truly cared for. Her legacy lives on in the love she gave, the memories she created, and the handmade treasures she shared with so many.

Visitation will be from noon–2 p.m. Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Barndt Funeral Home in Wayne, followed by a short service at 2 p.m. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate her life.

May she rest in peace, embraced by God's everlasting love. Though her earthly journey has ended, her spirit remains with all who knew her-guiding, comforting, and shining brightly in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
