Donald Nelson Obituary
Donald Eugene Nelson, 86, of Fostoria, died Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay. He was born November 17, 1939, in Templeton, Pennsylvania, to Charles and Sarah Anthony Nelson. He married Janice Dillon, June 27, 1959, in Distant, Pennsylvania.
He is survived by his wife, Janice; son, David (Coralee) Nelson of Findlay; daughter, Laurie Nelson of Columbus; sister, Mary Nelson of Martinsburg, Pennsylvania; grandsons, Anthony and Dylan Nelson; great-grandchildren, Tristen, Ian, Rylee and Ares; and great-great-grandson, Cayson.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Charles Nelson.
Donald was a member of High Street United Methodist Church in Fostoria. He graduated from Dayton High School, Pennsylvania. He was a member of Toledo Gun Club, a Former Elks member, and T-Bird Car Club. He was also a member of Geary Family YMCA in Fostoria. Donald enjoyed golfing and fishing.
Funeral Service will begin at 5 p.m. Friday, December 5, 2025, with the Rev. James Sharrett officiating at Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home in Fostoria. Visitation will be tqo hours prior to service from 3-5 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial can be made High Street United Methodist Church, Fostoria, or Bridge Hospice, Findlay.
