Donald W. Fry

Donald W. Fry, 79, of Findlay, passed away Sunday, May 26, 2024, at his residence.

He was born April 5, 1945, in Fostoria, to William and Lois (Schlosser) Fry. Don graduated from Fostoria High School. He married Karen Hotelling on Nov. 20, 1992, and she survives.

He is also survived by two daughters, Mandy (Hank) Bugner of Fostoria and Amanda (Ben) Pagal of Findlay; sons, Rich (Kari) King of Alvada and Doug Fry; grandchildren, Nicholas, Vivian, Walter, and Edith Bugner, and Kaya, Sydney, and Cameron King; brother, Bob (Mary) Fry; and sister-in-law, Terrie Fry.

Don was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Ron and Tony Fry.

He served his country in U.S. Navy, serving during the Vietnam War aboard the USS Valley Forge. Don was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns fan. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf, and shooting fireworks on July 4th.

There will be no services at this time and arrangements have been entrusted to COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME.

Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Don to charity of the donor's choice.
