Diane L. Thomas

Diane L. Thomas, 71, of Port Clinton, passed away unexpectedly early Friday morning, Dec. 16, 2022, at Magruder Hospital in Port Clinton.

She was born Sept. 19, 1951, in Tiffin, to Richard D. and Irene L. (Berrier) Boos. She married William R. Thomas on Feb. 19, 1972, in Fostoria, and he preceded her in death Nov. 2, 2021.

Diane owned and operated Grandma's Backyard Barbeque since 1996. She enjoyed researching genealogy and most of all, enjoyed being a grandma.

Diane is survived by two sons, William J. Thomas and Scott Turner; two granddaughters, Aubree and Courtnie Thomas; mother, Irene Boos; and two sisters, Cheryl (Tom) Pahl and Lydia (Richard) Thomas.

She was preceded in death by her father; and husband.

Per Diane's wishes, she will be cremated under the direct care of Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Oak Harbor, and there will be no services.

Memorial contributions in memory of Diane may be given to D.A.V. in Cleveland, Ohio. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.walkerfuneralhomes.com.
