Daniel Tyson Obituary

Daniel D. Tyson

Daniel David Tyson, 73, of Napoleon and formerly of Wauseon, passed away Friday, Sept. 23, 2022. He was born July 9, 1949, in Fostoria, to Norman and LaVern (Ritter) Tyson. Dan married Karen Sue Fetro on Dec. 26, 1969, in Fostoria.

He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Arcadia. Dan proudly served his country in U.S. Navy and was also a member of American Legion and Eagles Lodge. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his dogs. Dan was an excellent woodworker and spent his time working on projects for everyone.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Karen; daughters, Amy (Jonathan) Puffenberger, Heather (John) Wonder, Elizabeth Tyson, and Sara (Josh) Sauber; grandsons, Lee, Jacob, Jason, Daniel, Cody, and Brayden; four great-grandchildren; and siblings, Mike Tyson and Becky Moermond. In addition to his parents, Dan was preceded in death by his sisters, Gloria Hutchins and Arlene Tyson.

Services will be private for the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society. Online condolences and messages may be shared with the family at rodenbergergray.com.
