Cynthia Elbeck Obituary
Cynthia "Cindy" Elbeck, 61, of Kansas City, Missouri, and formerly of Fostoria, passed away Thursday, June 2, 2022.
Cindy was born Aug. 19, 1960, in Bexar County, Texas, to Eugene B. and Ramona (Arredondo) Martinez. She graduated from Lakota High School in 1978. Cindy worked as a claims specialist for the Social Security Administration for over 25 years before retiring in 2020. After moving to Kansas City in 2008 for her career, she met Brian Elbeck. They married Dec. 29, 2018.
She was involved in multiple programs that helped to serve the needy in Kansas City.
Cindy leaves behind her husband, Brian Elbeck; four children, Lisa Reinhart, Sylvia (Gary) Marvicsin, Sienna Elbeck, and Sage Elbeck; brother, Alex (Carol) Martinez; sister, Sylvia Salazar; and many nieces, nephews, and friends to cherish her memory.
Cindy was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial service will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, 2022, at First Church of the Nazarene, 339 Sandusky St., Fostoria, Ohio, 44830.
