Chaz Settles Sr

Chaz Settles Sr, 43, of Fostoria, passed away Sunday, Nov. 17, 2024.

He was born Aug. 15, 1981, in Fostoria to Charles Washington and Cheryl (Settles) Parks.

He is survived by the love of his life, Jamie Cunningham; his parents, Charlie and Cheryl; children, Natori Jones, Oriana Settles, Adri'Ana Cunningham, Chaz McBeth-Settles Jr, Desinee McBeth-Settles, Dai'Shaughn Settles and Tie'Nelle Settles; siblings, Tyrone Settles, Lita Settles, Craig Settles, Danelle (Anthony) Armstrong and Anthony Williams Jr; Gpaws, Janiya Smith and Jamari Smith; God children, Montrese Brooks, Aleena Williams, Cyniah Yarborough, Cynteriah Yarborough and La'Myah Brooks; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his "Pops", Michael Parks; and a brother, Quincy Pullom.

Chaz, affectionately known as Ike, worked at Seneca Millwork in Fostoria as a machine operator. He graduated in 1999 from Fostoria High School and Keystone Academy. Ike was a member of Fostoria Moose and Smoke House. He enjoyed spending time with his dogs, helping others and would give the shirt off his back. Ike loved his FAMILY and FRIENDS and will be remembered as a trend-setter.

Chaz was a LEGEND. To know him was to love him! <3

Visitation is from 11–1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, 2024, at HOENING & SON FUNERAL HOME, 133 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria, Ohio 44830, where the funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Michael Burton presiding.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the family's choice in care of the funeral home.
