Brett M. Fanning

Brett M. Fanning, 65, of Tiffin, passed away Saturday, Aug. 13, 2022, in Oak Harbor. He was born Jan. 23, 1957, in Brattleboro, Vermont, to Lewis and Barbara (Torrey) Fanning.

He is survived by three sons, Gabe (Amber Archer) Fanning of Fostoria, Tyler (Misty) Fanning of Indiana, and Craig (Ashley) Fanning of Xenia; brother, Barrett (Lois) Fanning of Michigan; and grandchildren, Michael, Karsyn, Hunter, Allison, Colin, Kane, Kaleigh, Chloee, Natlalee, Bailee, and Rilee.

Brett was preceded in death by his parents.

Brett was the former owner and operator of Jac & Do's Pizza, Fostoria, for many years. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, boating, and camping. Brett also loved spending time with his kids and grandkids.

A memorial service will be 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 19, 2022, at Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria, with Pastor Mark Self officiating. Memorial visitation will be 4-5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Sorry to read of news of your passing Brett. You were always a pleasure to talk to picking up my pizza back in the day when I lived in town. You always were chipper, smiling and up to up date on fun things to talk about.
