Bobby Lee Piotter

Bobby Lee "Bob" Piotter, 76, formerly of Fostoria and Findlay, passed away Friday, March 15, 2024, at Ohio Veteran's Home, Sandusky.

He was born Sept. 14, 1947, at Fostoria Hospital, to Ernest Eugene and Dorothy Lee (Brown) Piotter, who preceded him in death.

Bob graduated from Fostoria High School in 1966. Upon graduation, he went into U.S. Army, serving two tours in Vietnam. Later, he worked at Chrysler in Perrysburg and then retired from Lima Tank Plant. Bob enjoyed his time in the Army and working in both Perrysburg and Lima.

Bob is survived by his brothers, Raymond (Connie Ritter) Piotter of Findlay and Paul Wade Piotter of Las Vegas, Nevada; two nieces, Sherry (Scott) Grieser and Laurie (Jerry) Piotter-Babione; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Monday, March 25, 2024, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, 205 W. Sandusky Street, Findlay, Ohio, 45840. Bob's funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Knollcrest Cemetery, Arcadia, where full military honors will be conferred by Hancock County Veterans Memorial Squad.
