Betty L. Feehan

Betty L. Feehan, 97, of Fostoria, passed away Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Good Shepherd Home in Fostoria.

She was born August 23, 1927, in Hancock County to the late Frank P. and Bernice L. (McKee) French. She married Timothy F. Feehan February 4, 1950, at St. Wendelin Catholic Church, and he preceded her in death June 26, 2024.

Surviving are eight children, James T. Feehan, Donald P. (Marty) Feehan, Richard F. (Chalouy) Feehan, William D. (Cathy) Feehan, Linda T. Mora, Timothy J. (Irene) Feehan, Dennis F. (Cathy) Feehan and Laura K. (John) Coppus; 18 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild on the way; and a brother-in-law, Bernard L. Feehan.

Betty had an extended family of loving staff members at Good Shepherd Home, especially long-time caregiver Felisha Zink.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Carl French; sisters, Edna Keeney, Iona Geyer and Carol Gonyer; and a great-grandson, Joshua McCoy.

Betty was a 1945 graduate of Bloomdale High School and member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church in Fostoria.

Visitation is from 2-6 p.m. Friday, February 7, 2025, at HOENING & SON FUNERAL HOME, 133 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria, Ohio 44830, where a Vigil will take place at 5:30 p.m. Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 8, 2025, at St. Wendelin Catholic Church, with the Rev. Joseph Poggemeyer presiding. Burial will follow at St. Wendelin Cemetery. Following the burial, there will be a luncheon in the parish hall at church.

Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
