Arthur Meyers Obituary
Arthur W. Meyers, 88, of Tiffin, passed away Friday, August 1, 2025, at The Willows at Tiffin. He was born April 23, 1937, in Lima, to Walter & Pauline (Snyder) Meyers. He married his wife of 61 years, Nancy Esmonde, November 23, 1963, in Lima.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Meyers of Tiffin; son, Terry (Beth) Meyers of Norwalk; daughter, Gail (Daren) Behrendsen of Sandusky; grandchildren, Abigail, Brett and Grant Taylor, Kelly Schug, Amy Baker, Tracy and Terry Meyers, Katie Zieber, Matt Fackler, and Brian Clifton; 19 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
Arthur is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Laurie Ann Meyers; and sister, Melanie Gerschutz.
Arthur retired as a supervisor at Chrysler. He is a member of Restoration Alliance Church in Tiffin. He was a former president of Junior Achievement and loved to fish.
Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria, with the Reverend Brent Nussbaum officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Tiffin.
Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at the funeral home.
Memorials can be made to Restoration Alliance Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

I met Art back in 2018 as he was visiting my dad Richard at St. Francis home. Art was always cheerful and always looked to my dad as his big brother. He was always looking for a card game. We will always remember him. Nancy our hearts go out to you and the whole family.

Art was one of the first people to greet us when we moved into our condo two and an half years ago. He often supplied us with chocolates. He was a good man and a good friend and will be missed.
