Alice Elizabeth Douglas

Alice Elizabeth Douglas, 80, of Fostoria, passed away Monday, March 11, 2024, at her home.

She was born Feb. 12, 1944, in Liverpool, England, to John and Alice (Sheard) Johnson. She married Anthony Douglas and they later divorced.

She is survived by her daughters, Shelly (Jesus) Garcia and Ailsa (Bert) Dible; son, Simon (Whitney Miller) Douglas; brother, Graham (Barbara) Johnson; grandchildren, Sierra Garcia, Hannah (David Cornet) Dible, Logan (John) Demith, and Goose (Khloe Olin) Garcia; and great-grandchildren, Ayonah Garcia and Toni Demith.

Alice as preceded in death by her parents; son, Albert John Douglas; brothers, Trevor and Billy Johnson; and beloved dog, Comet.

Alice was a homemaker and worked at Quality Farm & Fleet as well as Copeland Co. She formerly attended Trinity Episcopal Church. She was a member of Fostoria Chapter #94 Order of the Eastern Star and Elks ladies auxiliary. Alice enjoyed shopping, chocolate, and spending time spoiling her grandchildren.

Memorial visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria.

Memorials can be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
