In loving memory of Dorothy V. Angelos, a beacon of strength and joy whose life was a testament to resilience, love, and laughter. Dorothy peacefully transitioned on August 30, 2025, surrounded by the warmth and affection of her cherished family. Born on March 12, 1936, in Magna, Utah, to John and Alexandria Vosnos (Karidis), Dorothy was the treasured daughter in a bustling household of seven brothers-Louis, George, Terry, Archie, Steve, Billy, and Jimmy. Her upbringing instilled in her unwavering values and a spirit of resilience, nurtured by the bond with her brothers, making her a force to be reckoned with.

Dorothy's journey was marked by her pursuit of knowledge and beauty. After graduating from Cyprus High School in 1955, she honed her skills at the University of Utah and LDS Business College, paving the way for her future endeavors. Her captivating beauty and flair for fashion led her to fulfill a childhood dream by becoming a model at Michelle's Modeling School, where she embraced her love for style and elegance.

A seeker of truth, Dorothy embraced the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in 1960, a decision that enriched her spiritual journey. Shortly thereafter, she met the love of her life, Chris James Angelos, and they united in marriage on September 2, 1962, in the Greek Orthodox Church. Together, they built a loving family, and Dorothy thrived as a devoted mother to their four children, who were her pride and joy. A defining moment in her life was when her family was sealed for eternity in the Salt Lake Temple in December 1973, a testament to her deep faith and commitment.

Dorothy dedicated over 20 years to Utah Power and Light, retiring with pride in her contributions. Her heart overflowed with compassion, particularly for the elderly, as she often cared for friends nearing the end of their journey. Embracing her Greek heritage, Dorothy delighted in creating Greek pastries during the Christmas season, a beloved tradition passed down to her children and grandchildren.

Known for her infectious laughter, Dorothy loved telling jokes and playing pranks, with April Fool's Day being her favorite holiday. Her humor and joy were a gift to all who knew her. Dorothy also had a passion for the arts, performing in various plays and musicals in Salt Lake City, and she found immense pride in watching her children shine on stage.

Above all, Dorothy cherished her family, declaring them her greatest blessing. Her legacy of love, laughter, and resilience will continue to inspire all who were fortunate to know her. She will be deeply missed.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, her seven brothers, and two of her grandchildren, Jackson Keate and Madison Angelos. She is survived by her beloved husband, Chris, their children-Michelle (Gary Hirschman), Christopher (Lisa), Stephanie (Scott) Keate, and Alicia-and grandchildren – Alex (CJ) Baird. Ashley (Mac) Jolly, Samantha, Daniel (Syd), Zoe and Zack Nielson, Hailey Martell, Brandon Hackney, Jake (Lexi) Wright, Max and Connor Keate - and great-grandchildren, Kaiden and Sasha Baird and Theo and Sofia Jolly.
